Wake Forest Innovations works with partners to recommend best-fit contract research, coordinate services, provide competitive contracting and manage contracts. We currently offer a range of contract research & development services designed to meet your needs in preclinical testing of therapeutics and devices, core research lab facilities and applied learning. We plan to provide numerous additional services in the near future.

Preclinical Translational Services
Preclinical Translational Services offers preclinical testing and development services, including surgical services for medical device and therapeutic testing. A wide range of studies can be supported based on an extensive catalog of preclinical testing models. We offer unique and differentiated capabilities in heart disease, addiction, behavior and metabolic studies. Studies in non-human primate models are a significant area of expertise.
Center for Applied Learning
The Center for Applied Learning, a core learning laboratory, provides experiential, immersive learning services, such as general education using high fidelity patient simulation, surgical training and research, advanced courses in ultrasound, and training programs for emerging innovations in point-of-care ultrasound.
Core Lab Services
Core Lab Services assists with data collection for virtually any experiment that can be designed. Core laboratories at Wake Forest School of Medicine and Wake Forest University include:
