Nephrology: Ranked No. 9 in the country, Wake Forest Baptist performs groundbreaking genomics research on kidney disease, operates the largest network of academic-operated dialysis centers in the nation and is one of the nation’s top transplant centers.
Cancer: The Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of 41 recognized by the National Cancer Institute and conducts biomedical research and clinical trials across seven states.
Pulmonology: A leader in critical care and airways diseases research and clinical practice, with several multimillion-dollar grants in asthma, aging, and allergy and infectious disease research.
