Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine to Lead Phase Two of $75 Million Wounded Warrior Project

Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, located in Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, will take the lead in phase two of a $75 million government initiative to develop life-changing regenerative medicine-based treatments for wounded warriors. The institute will lead a consortium of more than 30 research institutions as part of phase two of the Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine and will be involved in 14 projects focused on five areas identified by the military as critical needs for wounded warriors.
