Improving Animal Welfare while Controlling Costs and Maintaining Data Integrity
Wake Forest Innovations is proud to be a co-sponsor of the 2013 Enrichment Leadership Exchange. The Enrichment Leadership Exchange (ELE) encourages enrichment enthusiasts in the laboratory animal services community to submit poster abstracts that illustrate an innovative enrichment method or solution for presentation at a global forum on Sept. 10. Co-convened by “The Enrichment Record” & Veterinary Bioscience Institute, this “hybrid” conference will explore evidence-based strategies for improving animal welfare while controlling costs and maintaining data integrity. In person or online, participants will experience an unparalleled opportunity to engage with colleagues in an open dialog focusing on practical solutions to a wide spectrum of challenges identified by the global LAS community.
There are two options for poster session participation: in-person or virtual. The poster session for in-person presenters will follow the traditional poster session format; however the ELE Scientific Advisory committee will pre-select three authors to present their work during the afternoon session to the entire audience. Each author will have approximately 10-15 minutes for presentation. Selections will be based on abstract submissions.
For those who cannot attend in-person, we encourage you to submit an abstract for consideration for the virtual poster session. If accepted, authors must submit their completed poster in PDF form by August 16, 2013. One primary author will be selected to present via webcasting to the entire audience (in-person & online) during the afternoon session. The presentation will be approximately 10-15 minutes.
